The Rainbow Run Wetlands project is approximately 9 acres of off channel wetlands that are located at the headwaters of Rainbow Run, which is a tributary to the Little Miami River, a National and State Scenic River. The project will restore these floodplain wetlands which will provide filtration, buffering, and restoration of this sensitive area and will benefit important downstream waterways. The project will expand the wetland basin and add a connector channel that will include vernal ponds and pools to provide filtration, flood buffers and habitat for animals.
