Medina County
This project includes the conversion of approximately 55 acres of marginal agricultural fields to wetlands. Wet meadow habitat will comprise the bulk of the conversion with the introduction of native wetland plant species. Shallow pools with emergent wetland plants will be excavated where possible to create a diversity of habitat and to increase water storage on the landscape for greater nutrient uptake.
