The Pickerel Creek Riparian Floodplain project will involve 44 acres of invasive species management and earthwork to increase the nutrient retention of the riparian area. The project will intercept and process tributary agricultural drainage, increase diversity, and improve habitat for a several species (e.g., Blanding’s turtle, Northern Pike).
