This project sits in a 100-year floodplain running along the Little Darby Creek. The restoration will include 5 acres of wet meadow, and forested wetland, with 5 acres of upland buffer. Merriman Floodplain Restoration is trying to improve water quality while creating habitat and potentially recharge groundwater.
