This is H2Ohio restoration project is located on privately owned agricultural field that also functions as floodplain to Bad Creek. The landowner is interested in seeing the floodplain wetland restored to help reduce nutrients and provide habitat. The project will restore up to 6 acres of floodplain wetlands that will capture floodwaters from the 58.4 square mile drainage area of Bad Creek. The goal of the project will be to reduce nutrients and sand sediment to the Maumee River watershed.
