Genevieve Jones Preserve Floodplain and Wetland Restoration

Pickaway County

Genevieve Jones Preserve was previously a golf course and was restored. This restoration has added an estimated 20 acres of high-quality wetland, that lies within the Scioto River and Walnut Creek Floodplain. Leading to an increase of pollution filtration, cutting down the run in the Colombus Metro area. The area will also be access to migratory birds along the Scioto River.
