The City of Saint Marys Treatment Train project will filter nutrient laden waters flowing through the Miami-Erie canal that currently runs through the city’s center. The treatment train consists of a series of wetland pools that will reduce nutrients and sediments within the canal waters and ultimately reduce phosphorus loading to the Western Lake Erie Basin.
