The Village of Ottawa owns and maintains 45.4 acres located southwest of the Ottawa Upground Reservoir and south of Route 224. The property is surrounded by the Blanchard River. This project will improve 35.5 acres of the property through invasive plant control and 6 acres of wetland restoration. The area will be recontoured to increase its functionality, flood and nutrient storage capacity, and create emergent and shrub-scrub wetlands.
