Williamsburg Wetland Treatment System

Clermont County | East Fork Little Miami River Watershed | Inland Southwestern Ohio

The Williamsburg Wetland Treatment System is part of a multifaceted nutrient reduction initiative in the East Fork Little Miami Watershed and William H. Harsha Lake. This phase of the Project involves the construction of a 3–4-acre wetland treatment system at the site of the old Williamsburg reservoir that will be used to maximize nutrient removal and provide valuable off-channel fish, amphibian, and invertebrate habitat. A detailed assessment of the Harsha Lake watershed is also being conducted to identify priority areas for additional constructed wetlands.

Project size: 4 acres
