Butler County
The Indian Creek – Hoffmann Wetland and Stream Restoration project is a wetland floodplain and streambank restoration project in Butler County. A 600-foot section of severely eroded section of the Indian Creek will be stabilized while also restoring 12-acres of forested wetland and riparian corridors. The project will significantly reduce nutrients and sediment pollution at the project site and improve water quality in the watershed. By planting native wetland species this project will provide a critical habitat and support a large variety of wildlife, including migratory birds, macroinvertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.
Project Size: 13 Acres
