Maumee Towpath Feasibility & Design

The Maumee Towpath Feasibility and Design project seeks to restore aquatic habitat in and adjacent to the Maumee River and its floodplain. This is specifically trying to create floodplain wetland complex, vernal pools, and bioengineered streambank protection. Key aspects of this project are not only water quality but fish habitat specifically spawning, rearing and refuge habitat for Walleye.
