Reconnection to Killbuck Creek

Holmes County

The Reconnection to Killbuck Creek project, located in Holmes County, is both a wetland restoration and floodplain expansion project. Three levee breaks along the Killbuck Creek and two wetland enhancements totaling more than 6 acres, will be implemented to create a natural floodplain that can store and filter water for nutrients and sediment.
