East Fork Riparian Nature Preserve Wetland Treatment System

The project involves the construction of a 1-2 acre off-channel wetland treatment system along a tributary of the East Fork Little Miami River at the site of the East Fork Riparian Nature Preserve, a 70-acre protected reserve along the banks of the East Fork at the Clinton, Clermont, Highland county border. It is part of a multifaceted nutrient reduction initiative in the East Fork Little Miami River watershed. The site is owned by the Clinton County Board of Commissioners and maintained by the Clinton County Park District. The Clermont Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will serve as the project manager and will work with Clinton and Highland SWCDs and the Clinton County Park District to implement the project.
