H2Ohio Annual Report

Early in 2019, Governor Mike DeWine proposed the H2Ohio water quality initiative to invest in targeted solutions to help ensure safe and clean water for Ohioans. In July, the Ohio General Assembly agreed to invest $172 million in the H2Ohio initiative. Since then, the agencies tasked with implementing H2Ohio have led a comprehensive, data-driven effort to address Ohio’s water challenges.
Through collaboration among the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Ohio Environmental ProtectionAgency (Ohio EPA), Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA), and Ohio Lake Erie Commission (OLEC), H2Ohio is addressing critical water quality needs and developing innovative solutions to some of the state’s most pressing water challenges. This first annual report outlines our progress.
